What Makes This Special
A contemporary take on the faux-bois motif, The Bureau is based on original artwork by artist and designer Xavier Donnelly, the creative director of New York City–based Ash studio. Inspired by geometric parquetry in historic Italian villas, the large-scale design features a unique combination of gestural brushstrokes, a structured grid, and a glossy hand-applied finish that evokes a lacquer-style sheen. This sophisticated wallcovering coordinates seamlessly with Backdrop’s premium climate-neutral paints. -
